In her remarks at Prince George’s Community College, Harris thanked the audience of “young leaders.”
Which included high school and college students, recent graduates, and apprentices who have been involved in their communities.
She said that these individuals are now “heirs” to the fight to “keep the light of America’s promise” burning bright.
Democrats Sen.-elect Angela Alsobrooks, Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller, and Gov. Wes Moore of Maryland joined her.
