In response, Joshua Mason, a legal consultant and gang specialist, told Mercury News: “This guy should have never been housed with those people, and that’s common laymen knowledge.”
“It’s admirable that he told them, ‘I can’t be housed here,'” he said. That is not typical conduct for the broader jail population.
The prevailing culture is to take action if you feel uneasy. He was only attempting to complete his sentence, as shown by the fact that he did approach the administration.
Watson said in his letter, “I was mulling it all over when along came Molester #1 and he put his TV right on PBS Kids again.”
“But this time, someone else said something like, ‘Is this guy really going to watch this right in front of us?'” he said.
