As the funeral procession made its way to a private ceremony for Burrow, supporters sporting Leeds Rhinos jerseys lined the streets.
Among them were his wife Lindsay and their three children, Jackson, Maya, and Macy. Burrow played junior rugby at Featherstone Lions’ stadium, where the hearse made a stop.
According to the Rhinos’ statement, “Rob’s tenacity and spirit in the face of MND over the last four and a half years came as no surprise to those who knew him throughout his life.”
“Rob never came to terms with his incapacity to achieve anything. He just figured out how to do it better than everyone else.
He will never stop motivating us all. in an adversity-filled world. We must be brave enough to dream. We sincerely apologize for this terrible loss. I hope he finds peace.
