After what seems to have been an incident with his bodyguard, Travis Scott was detained in Paris on Friday morning. The Paris prison has freed Travis Scott.
Saturday, the “Sicko” rapper was reportedly freed from police detention after 36 hours, according to the French international news agency Agence France-Presse.
Officials from the agency also made note of Scott’s release from custody without prosecution. After what was said to have been an argument with his security, Scott was taken into custody in Paris on Friday morning.
According to TMZ’s reporting on Saturday, the case was rejected by Parisian prosecutors due to an inadequate description of the incident.
According to what ET has learnt, Scott allegedly got into an altercation with his personal security detail due to mounting tensions stemming from an apparent absence of paparazzi protection. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
A representative from the Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed to ET in a statement that the man known as Travis Scott was detained for assault on a security guard on August 9, 2024,
