When questioned about Mike’s reserved manner, Jake once said that he didn’t like the way the former champion was behaving.
“There’s a lot of s*** talk online saying you’re going to kill me, and just nothing in person,” Jake said. “This is… I’m not sure. It’s, well, quite dull. Quite f***ing dull.
Jake made things interesting by approaching each fighter on the event who thought Mike would win on Friday… and placing separate bets with each of them in an attempt to salvage the evening.
When Mike and Jake finally met in person in August, they got into a bit of a shoving struggle, so it wasn’t always that “boring” between the two.
