Mangione has been charged with five other felonies in addition to the murder of Thompson in New York.
In Pennsylvania, he has also been charged with possession of an unregistered handgun, forgery, and giving police fake identity.

The footage, which you can see here, became popular on social media right after due to the media coverage of Mangione’s arrest and subsequent trial.
In a statement, Mangione’s defense lawyer, Tom Dickey, said that he has not seen “any evidence” that Mangione is Thompson’s murderer and that Mangione intends to enter a not guilty plea to the allegations.
