In a sentencing letter, Doreene’s public defender contended that Logan harbored a great deal of animosity toward his mother, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal.
Additionally, the document identified significant discrepancies in Logan’s story. Additionally, according to the statement, Doreene herself had been abused as a kid by both her parents and foster parents.
It also mentioned that she battled drug addiction, especially methamphetamine, and detailed abuse that occurred during her marriage.
The Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center in Las Vegas is where Doreene is presently jailed.
After breaking a release term that prohibited her from getting in touch with her victim, she was arrested once more earlier this year. She had been released on parole in July of the previous year.
According to Logan, she made an effort to contact him via a third party and even tried to friend one of his brothers on Facebook.
In April, when her initial sentence is due to expire, there will be another parole hearing.
