He went on to say, “This is not related to any pre-existing abnormality,” stressing that Koonce’s illness could have been treated with fluids and medication to treat the viral infection.
Koonce most likely had pneumonia before she passed away, which includes fever, breathing difficulties, and a persistent cough.
