While filming content at her salon, a 23-year-old beauty influencer was shot and killed during a TikTok live stream.
According to PEOPLE, Valeria Marquez, who had around 200,000 Instagram and TikTok followers.
Was livestreaming from her Blossom Beauty Lounge in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico, when a guy entered the establishment and started shooting.
The state prosecutor’s office in Jalisco released a statement stating that the horrifying incident occurred on Tuesday at approximately 6:30 PM local time.
During the live broadcast, Marquez was seen sitting at a table with a stuffed animal in her hand in the final seconds before she passed away.
She may be heard stating, “They’re coming,” just before the fatal shot, after someone in the background asks, “Hey, Vale?” “Yes,” she said, and then she muted the broadcast.
