The current court case will evolve into a custody dispute if it is determined that Gifford is the father. It will still be a guardianship issue if he is not the father.
Whether or whether Gifford is the father, his attorney claims that establishing paternity is more difficult since Theodore’s DNA would be present in both brothers.
“As a male survivor, it is extremely distressing to consider that my brother might be the result of my sexual assault,” Gifford said.

After breaking a parole requirement that she have no victim contact, Doreene was arrested in January after being released on parole in July of previous year.
According to state authorities, she is now being detained inside Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center and is scheduled to appear in court in April for a parole violation hearing.
