Days later, Gray went back to the doctor for answers since she was having trouble walking because of her bladder pain.
She had a liter of urine in her bladder, which is almost four times its maximal capacity, according to scans. After the pain felt like she was “being stabbed in the bladder,” doctors helped her ease it by inserting a catheter.
Gray claimed that because she was still unable to urinate, she had to visit the hospital numerous times over the course of the following few months in order to have her bladder relieved with a catheter.
Gray was ultimately given a Fowler’s syndrome diagnosis in October 2019 after pressuring medical professionals to perform additional testing.
