According to the evidence presented at the committal court, Sikorsky allegedly beat the girl until she was on the verge of death and then refused to transport her to the hospital, allowing her to perish.
According to The Courier-Mail, witnesses claimed to have heard screams emanating from Sikorsky’s vehicle on the day Beilby was killed.
During Sikorsky’s committal hearing, a witness called him “intimidating” and stated that she had advised the man not to interact with the adolescent because of her age.
Beilby was 20 years younger than Sikorsky when she passed away.
