A British guy who contracted a flesh-eating illness after a spider “bit him in bed” has issued a warning.
Just before leaving on an airport vacation to Egypt, Nigel Hunt, 59, of the Isles of Scilly, was laying in bed at home.
Nigel claims that he was unexpectedly bitten on the stomach by a spider. Nigel initially “felt fine,” but a few days later, he had developed a severe illness.
Speaking from Egypt, Nigel stated: “We proceeded to departures after clearing check-in at the airport.
“At this point, everything seemed to deteriorate quite quickly from being sick in the departure lounge to having my head in a sick bag for most of the journey.
