A California soccer coach is accused of sexually assaulting a teenager while committing murder.

Prosecutors claim that the soccer coach who is accused of killing a California adolescent also sexually molested the child. According to information obtained by Worlvd,

The L.A. County D.A.’s Office now claims that Mario Edgardo Garcia-Aquino murdered Oscar Omar Hernandez, 13, while involved in the “performance of a lewd and lascivious act.”

Oscar’s instructor, Garcia-Aquino, was the last person his family say they saw with him before his death was discovered in a ditch in Oxnard, California, last week.

Garcia-Aquino was first taken into custody by police last week on suspicion of a separate sexual assault, but they said on Monday that they had sufficient evidence to accuse him of Oscar’s death.
