The father immediately fled from his suffering family after the horrific incident. He apparently ran away from the horrific collision and hopped into another vehicle.
He ran over the mother, the infants, and everything else. She was covered in blood. The Chevy’s driver, John McCoy, told ABC 13 that “he took off running.”
“I don’t know what’s going through his head right now.” After the collision, HPD Captain Ryan Watson said, “I don’t know if there was some other reason that he felt he needed to flee.”
“The investigators here are following up on leads, and they will see if they can speak with him to get some answers and learn more about what’s happening.”
