A group of thirty people, along with a teachers union, attempted to save Elena’s job, but the school ultimately stood by its decision and fired her.
Since her suspension started, Elena has given several interviews in which she claims that taking sexy pictures of herself doesn’t make her a bad employee and that she has always behaved professionally at work.
Elena stated on a radio broadcast that the school has “always acted with letters and have never wanted dialogue,” according to CNN affiliate A2.
It surprises me that a morality-focused Catholic institution would treat a worker this way.
