According to The Independent, the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of Paul Henri-Nargeolet, who was a passenger on the flight, seeks damages of over $50 million from OceanGate and its founder, Stockton Rush.
On Tuesday, August 6th, in Washington State Court, they also levied further accusations against the corporation and its creator, including gross negligence, pre-death agony and suffering, and mental anguish.
