The owners of the property where the tragedy happened, the Florida-based Hoffmann Family of Companies, have sent their sympathies to the family in an effort to express support.
The Hoffmanns, who are well-known for their vibrant participation in the neighborhood, have been purchasing restaurants and vineyards in an effort to turn
the area into the Midwest’s Napa Valley. An online fundraising page called GoFundMe has been established to help the bereaved family deal with
this terrible loss. Over $145,000 has been raised so far, demonstrating the amazing support from acquaintances, neighbors, and even complete strangers.
