The money will assist with burial costs and help the family start over after losing their house and belongings. The Defiance community has come together in support of the bereaved family.
A local woman named Laura Emerson honored the boys by putting a Christmas wreath on a water pump next to the burned-out shell of their house.
To honor the boys’ happy dispositions and the love they bestowed upon others, she added two plush animals to the wreath.
