After being caught on camera declining to play against a transgender competitor, a female disc golfer went viral.
Disk golfer Abigail Wilson was seen on camera declining to participate in a match at the Music City Open in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday, April 4, because transgender athlete Natalie Ryan was competing.
Wilson is seen in the video taking her turn and feigning to toss her disc before voicing her displeasure with the sport’s gender eligibility regulations.
“We need to safeguard women in our section. This is unjust. She yells to the audience, “I refuse to play,” before packing up and departing the event.
