A troubling “story” was written by the main suspect in the Madeleine McCann case after the toddler vanished.
Madeleine McCann: The Unseen Evidence, a compelling new documentary that follows The Sun’s in-depth investigation into the 2007 case of the missing toddler, was broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK on May 7.
In a matter of minutes, viewers were presented with unsettling pictures that had never been made public before and were taken from hard disks and USB sticks purportedly owned by Christian Brueckner, the key suspect.
According to the documentary, one of the stories on a USB drive discovered during a police raid depicts a horrific chemical kidnapping of a woman and her daughter.
It says: “I was already behind them both, carrying a cloth drenched in ether, when she approached the car, clutching her daughter’s hand, and opened the back door.
“I pushed it directly into the woman’s eyes. She protested hard at first, but I held her tightly. With large, terrified eyes, the young girl sat in the car and observed me.
