Shortly after authorities got a terrifying 911 call, a family of four was discovered dead in their Kalispell, Montana, home in a suspected murder-suicide.
On May 11, at 5:52 a.m., Kalispell Police Department officers were sent to Werner Peak Trail in response to a distressing emergency call from Nicholas Olson-Hartley, age 33.
The caller “made multiple concerning statements to dispatch before disconnecting the call,” according to authorities.
At first, authorities couldn’t get in touch with anybody inside the suburban house when they got there. However, cops forced entrance into the house after seeing alarming signals outside.
And discovered something horrible. They discovered Olson-Hartley and his wife, Katie Olson-Hartley, 27, both dead from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
Officers found that the couple’s two children, aged six and seven months, had both been shot dead when they searched the house further.
