On March 29, according to the police, he sailed a straight 25 miles from Kurma Dera Beach to North Sentinel Island in a gray Gemini inflatable boat.
Around one in the morning, he sailed into the restricted area “carrying a coconut and a Diet Coke as offerings for the Sentinelese.”
According to the report, he arrived to North Sentinel Island’s northeastern coast at approximately 10 a.m.
Before going ashore, Polyakov used binoculars to assess the area and continued to blast a whistle off the beach for around an hour in order to draw the tribe’s attention.
“He made a quick five-minute landing, left the offerings on the shore, took samples of the sand, and made a video before heading back to his boat,” Dhaliwal added.
