A German father is facing charges of murder after allegedly killing his crippled son, who was six years old, and then fabricating an alibi that he had been knocked unconscious by thieves.

His lawyer, Mathias Kapferer, has said that the 39-year-old is innocent and that Sandra, who is shown with Leon in the photo above, is supporting him.
