“Tyler Webb reached out to a vulnerable woman on the internet and urged her to kill herself and seriously injure herself.”
He persisted in his demands even though he knew she was weak and would comply, even though he knew she may not live. Thankfully, no one was killed as a consequence of his persistent.
And persistent recommendations. According to the CPS, the lady once followed Webb’s instructions to hurt herself and transmitted a picture of her wound to another person.
During a 44-minute chat in July of last year, he became irritated with her refusal to commit suicide despite his repeated requests and threatened to cut off any future communication with her.
After she told the authorities what had transpired, Leicestershire authorities took him into custody at his home in Loughborough.
According to the CPS, their investigation demonstrated that Webb was aware of the victim’s vulnerability since he had encountered her in an online community where individuals discussed.
Mental health issues. Additionally, investigators discovered an audio recording of a call the lady made that demonstrated his “persistent” efforts to coerce her into taking action.
