In a statement, Metro Nashville Public Schools stated, “We are sending our condolences to the victim’s family, friends, and the entire Chadwell Elementary community during this time of loss.”
The school district also said that “there is no ongoing threat to the safety of students or staff.” According to the authorities, Rubio-Perez is sought for criminal murder.
