Texas’s Collin County The Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office said that a man who was found guilty of “grooming, drugging, and repeatedly raping” a 14-year-old girl had been sentenced to 60 years in prison.
A member of the Texas Aryan Brotherhood was sentenced.
Background: Princeton resident Cody Wayne McCollom, 37, is a “violent repeat offender and confirmed member of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas.”
Jurors were informed throughout the trial that McCollom had previously served time for a number of severe robberies in the counties of Bexar and Nueces.
According to county officials, he reconnected with the 14-year-old girl after being released on parole in the spring of 2022 and started giving her illegal substances.
