According to court records, he sexually abused the youngster in Anna, Princeton, McKinney, and Melissa in January 2024.
According to officials, when the girl notified her mother about the assault in June 2024, the woman called the McKinney police right away.
Jurors discovered during the punishment phase that McCollom had joined the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas while incarcerated and continued to be an active member of the gang following his release.
Sentencing: McCollom was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison because of his previous felony convictions.
He was given a 60-year sentence by the jury, which must be served day in and day out without the chance of release.
“McCollom drugged and groomed a vulnerable 14-year-old, then repeatedly raped her throughout our county,” said Greg Willis, the criminal district attorney for Collin County.
