Laura Graves stated that she and her husband began to yearn for their work in Portland. Consequently,

when her former supervisor extended an offer to double her salary if she relocated, the decision was straightforward.

They sold their Spokane residence and returned to the city with their children, who are 7 and 9 years old.

Laura Graves stated that they were “a little picky” in their home search when they first returned, as they were apprehensive about paying an exorbitant amount for a property they did not adore.
