In what some have called a “dystopian” scenario, a humanoid robot was seen fighting its operator as it attempted to escape from shackles.
The robot, which is connected to a little crane, is shown ferociously swinging its arms back and forth in CCTV video taken at a Chinese factory.
One guy sitting at a computer nearby had to duck as it swung into what seemed to be a fury, while another man standing behind the robot had to retreat. Seemingly of its own will, the robot lifted.
Its arms in the air and lowered them again, repeating the action with escalating force and speed. Then, as it flailed about as if trying to escape the crane, it started to move forward.
The males are seen cringing and flinching, their arms raised to cover their faces. Other objects on the desk were pushed over as the guys tried to escape from the uncontrollably erratic robot,
