The incident comes after another terrifying dog attack in April 2023, leaving a “pool of blood” at the Bachelor star’s feet.
Lowe said at the time that his family’s Bullmastiff, Gus, had attacked their six-year-old son Samuel as well as their three-year-old daughter Mia.
According to reports, Gus had a history of acting aggressively toward the little child, first snapping at her and then biting her.
However, Lowe and his wife Catherine decided to permanently remove it when Samuel was attacked by the dog in a more serious manner, where it bit “him on the side of the head.”
According to the Today Show, Lowe said on Instagram at the time that Samuel’s injuries led to a “trip to the ER and a staple in the head.”
Therefore, much though I like that dog, I must put my children’s safety first. However, he is in a wonderful household, and we will periodically get to see him.
