“Anyone who knew Christi knew that she could brighten any space with her smile.” Christi was always happy, upbeat, and loving, regardless of what was happening in her life.

According to the police, on February 10, 2022, Crew ordered an Uber using his girlfriend’s phone, then put a gun to Spicuzza’s head and ordered her to continue driving.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that four seconds after the pistol was raised to her head, she reached back, felt the weapon, and stated, incredulously, “you’ve got to be joking.”

She informed him she had a family and begged him to keep driving when the crew reminded her to do so. I have four children. “I have a family too,” Crew shot back. “Go ahead and drive.”

He repeatedly urged her to “finish the trip.” He continued to point the rifle at the back of her neck despite her repeated requests for him to put it down.

Spicuzza was discovered dead in a forested location close to the 500 block of Rosecrest Drive, with a 9mm round casing next to her body and a single gunshot wound to the back of her head.

Police examined the film from a small SD card in Spicuzza’s dashboard camera, which captured audio and video from the front and rear of the vehicle.
