A New Owner Is Found for Elvis Presley’s Exotic Private Jet from 1962

Elvis adored the Lockheed Jetstar for almost 35 years, but it was abandoned after his death in 1977. Among his collection of private airplanes, the Lockheed was unique.

He also had a modified Convair 880, registered as Hound Dog 1 and famously known as the “Lisa Marie.” Another of his JetStar planes was Hound Dog 2. These private jets reflected his passion of flying and his opulent lifestyle.

Before putting up for sale, the aircraft below sat on a road near Roswell, New Mexico, USA, for a very long period. An Elvis fan just paid $260,000 for the jet at an auction in Florida over the phone.

With his father, Vernon Presley, by his side, Elvis had his first flight aboard this aircraft as it soared over the skies.

After Elvis Presley passed away, the aircraft remained in one location in New Mexico for almost 30 years. From the exterior, the aircraft seems to be in rather good condition, but the red paint has faded somewhat.

Look inside. I must confess that the prospect of a long journey on this aircraft is alluring. It’s just as charming as the King of Rock, I suppose.

When the father finds his daughter’s missing bag, he finally knows where to look.

Ten years after he left me with his son from a previous marriage, my ex showed up in my yard yesterday accompanied by a lawyer.
