According to a recent PennLive.com article, McKnight was not charged in a 2019 incident in which she shot her estranged husband after inviting him to her house to assist with moving furniture.
The incident was determined by investigators to be self-defense.
A trial judge denied McKnight’s defense team’s request for her release following her conviction. She will be sentenced on May 28 and faces a maximum penalty of 60 years in jail.
