Brenda Alvarez, his wife, told ABC Action News that the severity of the collision left her “whole body hurting.”
“It’s terrible,” she replied, referring to the devastation. It caused a large dent and broke the entire back of the boat.
“All we wanted was to get home and to our automobiles. You never expect anything to happen, and neither do we.
Alvarez also gave credit to emergency personnel for their prompt assistance in getting her husband and their two kids to safety.
“Where we were, it was really shallow, so there was actually some paramedics that went out there and helped my children and I get off the boat,” she explained.
