A psychologist issues a warning. It’s a serious warning sign if you unwind by reading true crime fiction.

“I’m not about the trauma,” says another. I like it when the villain is apprehended or the riddle is solved.

Another remark reads: “I’ve been reading and watching true crime for forty years and I’m still on the right side of prison bars.” It’s a harmless curiosity.

“Some of us just like watching the dark side of things,” writes a fourth, who concurs. In my opinion, it increases our awareness of this bizarre world in case we encounter situations like this.

However, others have found the expert’s remarks to be a little too accurate. One writes: “Whoa! It makes perfect sense. “It still surprises me that people find peace to be boring,” adds a second.

I’m not sure whether I’ll ever go beyond it. A third remarks, “Wow, that’s exactly what I watch to unwind.” “This was really eye-opening.”

She didn’t wait very long. After divorcing Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez has found a new partner.

“You should leave if you don’t love America.”
