Free lunches are also available to children participating in Head Start or a comparable state-funded pre-K program. Furthermore, it states:
“Free lunches are available to children from families whose earnings are at or below 130 percent of the Federal poverty threshold.
Reduced price meals are available to those whose earnings fall between 130 and 185 percent of the federal poverty threshold.
