A retired couple decided to take 51 consecutive cruises as it was “much cheaper” than buying a retirement home.

Regarding the enjoyable events on offer, Jess informed the publication, “Where else can you go? You go out to eat, see a performance, and go dancing. You have all of these things to do during the day.”

In addition, the retirees start their days with an hour of vigorous ping pong and a few drinks before relaxing on their balcony and admiring the scenery.

Thanks to a staff of housekeepers who regularly clean their room, they were also able to avoid duties.

They’ve been living at sea for so long, Marty said, that they “don’t know how to make a bed because we haven’t done it for so long.”

“So now we have to stay on board just to stay alive,” he said. The Ansens are predicted to return to land in August 2024, according to PEOPLE.

But Jess and Marty won’t be gone for long—they want to take a second, year-long vacation on the Crown Princess.

For the “Jurassic World” sequel, Bryce Dallas Howard says she was paid “so much less” than Chris Pratt.
