According to the newsgroup, which cited social media footage, the security guard informed the man that his T-shirt, which said “Jesus Saves,” was “offending” other customers.
The Blaze said he then told the man to take off the clothing or get out of the mall.
A couple of video recordings featuring the man wearing the “Jesus Saves” shirt conversing with security personnel close to the mall’s rotunda were linked to by both news outlets.
Alpha News said that one of the videos was live-streamed to Facebook.
According to the security agent who challenged the man over the slogan on his shirt, that appears to be an issue for the purportedly “offended” shoppers.
The security guard then gives the man an order. He is free to take off his shirt or to leave the mall, but he is not allowed to stay there with his “Jesus Saves” sign up.
