According to the FAA, the aircraft took off from Lancaster’s William J. Fox Airfield and was traveling to Camarillo Airport.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will collaborate on the investigation. About 40 miles northwest of Los Angeles is where you’ll find Simi Valley.
