A toddler passes away at daycare after choking on a watermelon; startling new information about the tragedy

Tragically, 16-month-old Jamal Allen Bryant, Jr. choked to death on a slice of watermelon while at daycare. The Kids Nest Learning Center in Brunswick,

where the youngster was enrolled, has subsequently been temporarily shuttered. The personnel delayed for over two minutes after notifying emergency services,

according to the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, or DECAL. The bereaved family alleges that their son has been neglected,

much like the other kids who went to the same institution. According to reports, the personnel fed the kids at the scene but did not remain with them while they ate.
