A woman allegedly abducted the wife of her ex-boyfriend while posing as an ICE agent.

Florida’s Bay County (TCN) — A lady was arrested for reportedly abducting her ex-boyfriend’s wife while posing as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official.

The victim said Latrance Battle appeared at her place of employment pretending to be an ICE agent when deputies arrived to the Bridge Plaza Apartments on April 10 and spoke with her.

According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office. Battle allegedly carried a handheld radio, presented the victim a business card from the sheriff’s office, and wore a shirt with the words “ICE” printed on the front.

The victim claimed “genuinely felt as if Latrance was an ICE agent at the time and she is in the process of becoming a legal United States resident,” so she obliged with Battle’s demand that she accompany her.

Battle allegedly “forcefully snatched” the victim’s phone away when she tried to call her husband and lawyer.

Battle proceeded to the Bridge Plaza Apartments after telling the victim she was taking her to the sheriff’s office.
