According to reports, the woman “suspected something was wrong,” and when Battle entered an apartment, she was able to escape.
The following day, Battle was heading to Alabama when she was captured by deputies.
She is being held at the Bay County Jail on accusations of robbery by abrupt snatching, felony violation of probation, impersonating a law enforcement official, and kidnapping in commission of a felony.
Battle is acquainted with the victim’s spouse, Bay County Capt. Stephen Jencks said WMBB-TV. Referring to it as a “targeted, individual occurrence.”

According to WOFL-TV, When the woman reached safety, she called her husband, who informed her that the ICE agent looked like Battle, his ex-girlfriend.
