She underwent a complete pelvic reconstruction at the age of seven months, which produced the three openings she required.
Furthermore, swallowing was extremely challenging for her because her oesophagus and windpipe were connected.
“I actually can’t swallow,” she murmured. Eating and drinking can be difficult because my food pipe is gravity functioning only and I don’t have any contractions in it.”
