According to Marshall, Waters mistreated Snow and even “choked her out” for using a fork improperly or engaging in “other behavior common of a toddler.”
According to the affidavit, Waters “threw” Snow to the ground on February 9, 2023, after she began to cry, claiming that “her crying had agitated him.”
Later, it is said that he shouted for her to get on her bouncing ball. Shortly then, Waters rushed in carrying an unconscious Snow.
During their search, detectives found the abandoned house to be “extensively cluttered with trash and debris and was difficult to walk through.”
One of the detectives came upon the smell of a decaying body emanating from a dresser in the living room area. After obtaining a warrant, they found Snow’s remains in the drawer at the bottom.
According to the coroner, her “left leg was clearly broken at the knee.” Afterwards, the Morgan County Coroner reported that she died from homicide by “unspecified means.”
On April 26, 2023, the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office declared that the two would face charges related to her passing.
