And then started strangling him. Dooley first made it impossible for the victim to breathe by directly pressing on his neck with both of her hands for around 20 seconds.
According to an affidavit for probable cause, Dooley finally paused, but only to “procure a belt that she then placed around [the victim’s] neck.”
She then tightened the belt for an additional 20 seconds, which again made breathing difficult. She looked for a pulse on [the victim’s] neck after removing it.
Lauren Marie Dooley allegedly dragged her victim into a bathtub to wash up the blood from the knife wound after duct-taping, strangling, and stabbing him.
Then, before the delivery guy delivered the meal, she reportedly threatened the victim, saying, “If you scream or say anything, I’ll kill you.”
