The restaurant insisted that Bonner’s top was against the dress code, therefore she was ordered to leave after refusing to cover it.
In the video, Bonner is seen inquiring where the dress code was posted, unfazed. The staff said that since the restaurant is privately owned, there was no need to publish the dress code.
Bonner then gave the worker instructions to inform the owner to come and inform her directly that she needed to wear a t-shirt for cover.
