In a Facebook post, Bonner claimed, “I was threatened with police action simply because I wanted to sit and eat in an outfit that I felt comfortable and happy in.”
“The problem was not brought on by a client complaint.
She continued, “This was just the way the ‘owner’ decided to operate his business,” but in her video clip, she leveled much more severe charges against the eatery, accusing it of racism.
Bonner told viewers not to eat at the restaurant after yelling “F*ck” to it, calling it “disgusting” and claiming that the staff is “racist” and “slut-shame.”
In an interview with CBS 42 following the event, Bonner reiterated her skepticism that her attire was the reason she was expelled, further asserting that race was a factor.
