Alabama Rally Against Injustice organized a sit-in protest at the restaurant in response to Bonner’s complaint, alleging that the establishment’s social media website included images of other women dressed similarly.
Although we were unable to locate the images the group is referring to, we did locate numerous pictures of black customers having a good time at the restaurant, but I’m getting off topic.
The organization Alabama Rally Against Injustice acknowledged that private companies have the freedom to operate their enterprises as they see appropriate, but they also stated that discrimination would not be accepted.
This raises the question: was this discrimination? Was the issue with the woman’s clothing or the hue of her skin? You have to decide that.
