After discovering an odd symptom while dining with friends, a lady has recounted receiving a rare cancer diagnosis.
Certain cancers are easier to identify than others, but certain types of the disease may be confused with far less dangerous conditions.
Erica, a single mother and navy veteran, recently spoke to The Patient Story about receiving a cancer diagnosis that was unexpected since.
She didn’t immediately recognize the symptoms. Erica recalled a specific instance: “I went out to dinner with a friend and I was immediately full.”
As was customary, I took a few nibbles before kind of pushing it down. My hunger was over the sky since, as I said, I had been working out a lot.
In addition to seeing minor symptoms like bloating, monthly weariness, and sporadic severe pain, Erica had a hysterectomy, which is a medical operation in which the uterus is removed.
